Across the Internet users can find a great quantity of sites for exposing their thoughts, photos and for creating social chains which could represent a real way to make new friends. These kinds of sites are called social networking sites, or just social networks, and Metroflog is one example of these. It can be mentioned similar sites as Fotolog, Hi5 or Netlog. However, even if they are social networking sites, each of them have their own advantages, disadvantages and audience. Adding a Photo in MetroFLOG
For adding a picture (often called pic) the user has to know just two important aspects. First, he or she has to know that the content which will be added is according the TOS, or Terms of Service, of Metroflog. If people add illegal photos which incites to the obscenity, drugs, violence, and so on, they will be eliminated or banned from the page. Second, users need to know how to upload a picture. Fortunately, this action is almost the same in any site in the web. The user just has to mark the tab for adding a new picture, browse it in the computer and choose one. Then, the picture starts its downloading process, and that’s it, it will form part of the personal photo album of the member.
Design of the Site
The own photo album looks like a calendar. Each day contains the respective photos which were added then. Also, the personal profile has a standard design at the beginning, but users are able to change how it looks. For example, it can be modified the page color and the font size.
