How to Keep a Photo Album on a Kindle

Amazon Kindle is an innovative portable e-book reader with killing features able to satisfy even the most demanding customers. Pioneer E-Ink technology, 6’ anti-glare screen, ultra lightweight, built-in Wi-Fi, enhanced PDF Reader, fast book downloading and magnificent design are only some of its unique characteristics. But the Kindle is not just another e-book reader; you can visit your favorite web sites, check your emails, print screenshots or even keep your personal photo albums on it to browse anytime, anywhere. The process is easy and does not require extensive technical knowledge.

In particular:

1. Choose the photos you wish to integrate to your Kindle. Keep in mind that the Kindle displays pictures and texts only in gray scales. If you wish, group or tag your photos.

2. Save your Kindle’s memory by reducing your photos overall size. You can easily do that via your computer’s ‘Paint’ or any other specified program. Nevertheless, if you have plenty of free space on your Kindle, you may choose to ignore this step.

3. Connect your Kindle to your pc using the USB cable that came with the device. It is highly suggested to use a high-speed port to enable file transfer and maximize performance.

4. Once your pc detects the Kindle, it will ask you whether to view files or choose another action. If not, click on ‘My Computer’ and then on ‘Kindle’. Your Kindle will be shown as an external hard drive.

5. Open the Kindle directory by double clicking on it. There you will find a list of folders such as ‘Audible’, ‘Documents’, ‘Music’ and ‘System’. Create a new folder and name it ‘Photos’.

6. Double-click on the ‘Photos’ folder and create as many sub-folders as you wish. Name them according to their content to distinguish them easily.

7. Drag and drop or copy and paste the photos you wish to move to your Kindle to the corresponding sub-folders. Wait a few seconds until the transfer is complete and disconnect the Kindle from your computer. For safety reasons, choose the ‘Safely Remove Hardware’ option on your pc.

8. You need one more thing to do before your actions take effect; press ‘Alt’ and ‘Z’ simultaneously on your Kindle’s keyboard to automatically refresh its folder’s list.

9. That’s it! You can now browse your favorite photos on your Kindle! Just open a photo subdirectory and press on the scroll button to display its contents.

metroflog: Create Your Photo Album

Across the Internet users can find a great quantity of sites for exposing their thoughts, photos and for creating social chains which could represent a real way to make new friends. These kinds of sites are called social networking sites, or just social networks, and Metroflog is one example of these. It can be mentioned similar sites as Fotolog, Hi5 or Netlog. However, even if they are social networking sites, each of them have their own advantages, disadvantages and audience. The type of person which usually visits and uses Metroflog is the one which like to see photos, add their own or just make comments.

 

Adding a Photo in MetroFLOG

For adding a picture (often called pic) the user has to know just two important aspects. First, he or she has to know that the content which will be added is according the TOS, or Terms of Service, of Metroflog. If people add illegal photos which incites to the obscenity, drugs, violence, and so on, they will be eliminated or banned from the page. Second, users need to know how to upload a picture. Fortunately, this action is almost the same in any site in the web. The user just has to mark the tab for adding a new picture, browse it in the computer and choose one. Then, the picture starts its downloading process, and that’s it, it will form part of the personal photo album of the member.

 

Design of the Site

The own photo album looks like a calendar. Each day contains the respective photos which were added then. Also, the personal profile has a standard design at the beginning, but users are able to change how it looks. For example, it can be modified the page color and the font size.

Create Digital Photo Album Presentation in Powerpoint

In Microsoft PowerPoint, you can create a digital photo album of your scanned photographs to represent as slide show presentation. Using this feature, you can display your business photo album on the web. Once you have converted it into HTML document, PowerPoint will allow you to publish this album to the internet. 

You can create unlimited albums and also add unlimited photos in each album.

Follow the given steps to create a digital photo album of your scanned photographs: 

First create a folder of your scanned pictures or transfer from your digital camera or download from the web. 

Now click on “Picture” option from the “Insert” menu then click on “New Photo Album” option.

Here a small dialog box will appear with “Photo Album” title. Now click on “File/Disk” button under “Insert picture from” area to add first picture in album.

(1) you can add unlimited picture in one album. If you want to get pictures from scanner or camera then click on “Scanner/Camera” button.

(2) you can add effects to your pictures, for example rotates picture to different directions, background colors, picture brightness and contrast levels.

(3) Now under “Album Layout” area, you can choose the best picture layout, Frame shape and add design template also for your photos album. 

Once you have selected the all required pictures and layouts for your photo album then click on “Create” button to start the process.

(4) Now “Save” the file and then run this photo album in Slide Show.
